Release date:2025-12-18   Browse:168

In order to consolidate the foundation of food security, the agricultural and rural departments have taken the lead in promoting the integration and promotion of technology to increase the yield per unit area of staple grains, focusing on the three major staple grains of wheat, corn, and rice, and targeting the low yield bottleneck in production. Currently, more than 50 mature technology models have been formed, with a cumulative promotion of over 160 million acres, providing key support for stabilizing grain production and increasing output.

Based on the characteristics of different production areas, the technical team has also customized regional plans, such as drought resistance and soil moisture preservation technology in northern dryland areas and stress resistance and high-yield technology in southern rice areas.

From the perspective of implementation effectiveness, various technological models can achieve an average increase of 8% -15% in the yield of main grains, an increase of more than 10% in the utilization rate of fertilizers and pesticides, and an average cost savings and income increase of 120-200 yuan per mu. This promotion work not only improves the scale and standardization level of main grain production, but also drives over ten million farmers to master scientific planting skills, playing an important role in ensuring stable growth of national grain output and building a solid foundation for high-quality agricultural development.
