Recently, China's satellite solid-state battery achieved a successful full-function verification in orbit. This marks the first time in the domestic commercial aerospace sector that a satellite equipped with a new generation of solid-state batteries has completed a long-term, full-operating-condition verification in orbit. This achievement fills a technological gap and drives the aerospace power system towards generational leapfrogging.
This verification is carried out on a commercial satellite, undergoing a three-month on-orbit test that comprehensively covers extreme environments such as alternating high and low temperatures in space, space radiation, and microgravity. The entire process simulates the actual operational scenarios of the satellite, and the data is authentic and highly valuable for reference.

Compared to traditional liquid lithium batteries, this solid-state battery achieves breakthroughs in safety, energy density, and environmental adaptability. It eliminates the risk of leakage, significantly enhances energy density, and exhibits outstanding resistance to radiation and temperature fluctuations, thereby significantly extending the on-orbit endurance and service life of satellites..
